Immerse Yourself in Royal Intrigue, Local Delights, and a Dazzling Light Show

Get ready to immerse yourself in a captivating historical adventure! On June 15th and 16th, the Place du Palais Princier in Monaco will transform into an incredible portal to the glorious past of the Grimaldi dynasty.

At the 5th Meeting of the Historical Sites of the Grimaldis, you’ll relive the unbreakable bonds that unite the Principality with diverse regions of France and Italy, forged over centuries of palace intrigues, diplomatic agreements, and strategic marital alliances.

Nearly 150 localities can take pride in being linked to the lineage of Monaco’s monarchs. Prince Albert II has taken it upon himself as a sacred duty to preserve and pay tribute to these ancestral connections.

In a festive, fraternal atmosphere, twelve honored guests – the French towns of Breil-sur-Roya and Bathernay, along with the Italian villages of Ventimiglia, Olivetta San Michele, Airole, Ripacandida, Campagna, Monteverde, Spinazzola, Poggiorsini, Terlizzi and Canosa di Puglia – will unveil a dazzling spectacle of color and tradition.

Immerse yourself in the exquisite cuisine, hypnotic folk dances, and unique crafts that represent the soul of each corner connected to the Grimaldis. Witness their unwavering pride as they exhibit their roots intertwined with the Principality.

However, the culminating moment will arrive on Saturday the 15th at 10pm, when a stunning light and sound show bathes the Palace Square. A monumental projection will transport you through time to unveil the best-kept secrets of the ties between these sites and Monaco’s reigning House.

Don’t let this unique opportunity slip away! Admission is completely free for you to enjoy this dazzling journey into the heart of Monaco’s history.
